According to fifaworldcup.com there are only FIVE countries in the world that have a single World Cup 2006 broadcaster on a PAY TV channel. They are [in no particular order]:
1. Singapore
2. Sao Tome and Principe
3. Liechtenstein
4. Luxembourg
5. Central African Republic of Congo
The irate poster of this info on the net also said "they are the only countries in the world with a single World Cup broadcaster that is on PAY TV, i.e. having no other alternatives of national free-to-air broadcasters screening the matches, live or delayed telecast."
Throughout Asia, soccer fans in Afghanistan, Bahrain, Myanmar and elsewhere can watch the matches for free on their national TV networks.
