Saturday was planned to be a picnic day. Everyone must prepare something.
Here's something i read on yesterday's papers.

Singapore Fireworks Festival is back for the third time with an even bigger bang.
More than 15000 rounds of fireworks will light up a 400m stretch of Marina Bay. This is 2 1/2 times the rounds fired last year.
And the skies will be set ablaze on four nights this year - on 5, 8, 11 and 12 Aug - at 9pm.
This time, each show will be about 15minutes long. The fireworks display at the NDP is four minutes long.
The festival kicks off this Saturday with a display by Team Italy and its theme will be "Dynamic City", and it is expected to be a loud and passionate display....
The best sites to watch the displays are along the Marina Promenade stretch or at Marina Park.
Other good viewing spots include the Padang, Esplanade Park, One Fullerton and Merlion Park.
The shows are free, and memebers of the public are urged to use public transport as parking is limited.

How about it guys? Sounds very nice to me =) i wanna go and see!
So, back now to the picnic... i suppose i'm the planner now but i need suggestions. The problem with having a picnic at Marina is there's a 2 hour break from sunset till 9pm... nothing to do during that time. How how? HOw how how? One brain not enough to think. No time le, don't plan now wait end up watching tv at home on saturday night le!
